Can I open Jan Dhan account in any bank?
Yes. All public sector banks, regional rural banks, and cooperative banks offer PMJDY accounts. Visit any branch with Aadhaar (or voter ID/MGNREGS job card). Account opened same day. One account per person -- if you already have a savings account, you cannot open a second Jan Dhan account.
